What is the Reader's Wall of Fame?
It is the honor we are given when we have read 100 books! We get our name announced on the overcom and our picture is placed on the bulletin board for every 1st grader to look at on their way to the library!
How Do We Keep Track?
Every month a reading log is sent home. All we have to do is read every night--either a leveled take-home book, classroom library book, school library book or any other book from the Public Library--write the name of the title and turn it in at the end of the month. We also participate in the Book-It program, so we can also earn personal pan pizzas from Pizza Hut! If your log gets filled up before the end of the month, bring it in and take home a new one! It's that easy!
